Newspaper front cover analysis For our newspaper, we chose the following stories for the following reasons: Prince Charles slipping and breaking his wrist   Simplicity: The simplicity of this story is good enough to appeal to the target audience of 'unintelligent people', as a simple story, the newsworthiness of the story increases. Every red top newspaper definitely needs a form of comedy to ease up the mood of the magazine to compliment the overall newspaper. Prominent person: The fact that Prince Charles is the person in question instantly adds newsworthiness to the story. To the target audience, anyone with a title seems important so the word 'Prince' in big red text will definitely draw the attention of the consumer. Magnitude: When designing the cover, we made the choice to not specify what has happened to Prince Charles. This will add shock value to the story, as

Advertisements analysis

This advertisement's dentition the person's teeth shiny white, this shows that the toothpaste is good at cleaning and whitening teeth. The 'bouncers'  are a connotation for the protectiveness from plaque and other various impurities. The red text connotes the brand and makes it stand out to the driver against the white background. The red also connotes the VIP, with the red velvet rope. The yellow in the background is lighter than the slogan to make it stand out. The yellow connotes the light and the holiness which can link to the belief that christians have an afterlife in heaven. Where Jesus will be. The blue connotes heaven, which is where good people who have had their sins forgiven go.
